The Jack Miller Chairman’s Award for Academic Leadership is given to leaders in higher education in recognition of their distinguished contribution to advancing the academic mission of The Jack Miller Center. The Award recognizes the outstanding leadership, vision and commitment of the recipient in developing programs and initiatives that promote the teaching and study of America’s Founding Principles and History.
- The Award carries a cash prize of $1000, and is given out in the spring of each academic year.
- The deadline for the fall award is March 15. Nominations for the prize should be submitted to Dr. Michael Andrews, Vice President for Academic Programs, The Jack Miller Center for Teaching America’s Founding Principles and History. Nominations must include a letter specifying the candidate’s qualifications and suitability for the Award. Nominations will be evaluated by Miller Center Staff and the Miller Center Academic Council.
