Jack Miller

Jack Miller is a prominent Chicago area entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is the founder and former President/CEO of Quill Corporation, which became the nation’s largest independent direct marketer of office products, employing over 1,300 people with annual sales in excess of $630 million. He sold Quill to Staples in 1998.

Over the next ten years, Mr. Miller was chairman of the board at Successories Inc., a business-to-business mail order firm. In 2009, he sold Successories and turned his focus to real estate development and investment at Millbrook Properties and The Benida Group.

Mr. Miller is an active philanthropist who serves as Chairman of the Jack Miller Center and as President of the Jack Miller Family Foundation, which supports a wide variety of community improvement efforts. In 2007, he established the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy with the idea of its becoming a public foundation supporting the funding of collaborative research at a number of institutions.

Mr. Miller was inducted into Philanthropy World Magazine’s Hall of Fame in 2008.
