Colleges Now Must Report Tuition Statistics

The recent Higher Education Opportunity Act has forced Colleges and Universities to report tuition statistics to the U.S. Department of Education.

The Education Department has now published the full findings for Public and Private Institutions (both non-profit and for-profit). As the New York Times reported, one of the surprising features of the new study is the fact that Community Colleges, once thought to be the “safety net” of higher education – are pricing themselves out of business.
