Lee University 10th Annual Intercollegiate Symposium on Civic Virtue and Thought: “Statesmanship and Tyranny”
Lee University is set to host their 10th Annual Intercollegiate Symposium on Civic Virtue and Thought for undergraduate students.
On October 10–11, the Center for Responsible Citizenship is partnering with The Jack Miller Center to host its 10th Annual Intercollegiate Symposium on Civic Virtue and Thought at Lee University.
This year’s theme, “Statesmanship and Tyranny,” takes up the moral and institutional forces that shape political authority. Students, faculty, and members of the community will reflect on the difference between power rightly exercised and power abused.
The two-day program will include faculty-guided group discussion seminars and a public keynote lecture.
We look forward to welcoming faculty, students, and members of the community into this shared work of reflection and dialogue.p round between the top teams. Lee undergraduates are involved in all aspects of the event, including serving as mentors for participating high school students.
