Columbia CAS: Live-Stream Event on Korematsu

Korematsu v. United States

 

Columbia’s Center for American Studies, a JMC partner program, will be live-streaming a public event tonight on Korematsu v. United States, a Supreme Court case concerning the rights of interred Japanese-Americans during the Second World War. A panel of discussants including Fred Korematsu’s daughter as well as a member of the legal team defending Fred Korematsu will address the history and legacy of the case and its decision.
