On April 15, 2020, ASU's School of Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership hosted JMC faculty partner Michael Zuckert for a virtual lecture on Madison's view of the necessary and proper clause.

On January 24, 2020, the Kinder Institute will be holding a symposium on the political thought and career of James Madison. Michael Zuckert, JMC faculty partner, will be co-leading the event.
