Emilee McHorney

Teacher Programs Manager

Emilee McHorney joined the Jack Miller Center in July 2024 as a Teacher Programs Manager, where she designs and leads professional development programs that support K-12 educators in teaching America’s founding principles and history. She collaborates with educators, scholars, and partner organizations to expand high-quality civic learning opportunities and develop resources that strengthen primary source analysis and inquiry in classrooms.

Prior to joining JMC, Emilee taught high school social studies for more than a decade, with a focus on AP United States Government and Politics. She served on school leadership and curriculum teams and remains actively engaged in civic learning efforts. She is passionate about connecting teachers with rich historical content, practical classroom strategies, and meaningful opportunities for professional growth.
