Join Benedictine College’s Center for Constitutional Liberty for a presentation by Dr. Bradley Thompson on “Revolutionary Constitutionalism.”
Dr. Thompson will examine how Americans in the revolutionary era adapted and refined constitutional forms—culminating in the 1780 Massachusetts Constitution—as they sought to translate the natural-rights principles of the Declaration of Independence into durable political institutions. Those interested in constitutional development, political philosophy, or the intellectual history of the Founding will find this an engaging and substantive event. Q&A to follow.
