The theme for this year’s event is Cultivating Civic Virtue. Drawing on foundational approaches to civic virtue, the symposium will explore how educators can incorporate moral and civic formation in the classroom. It will do so by interrogating historically grounded principles and traits of engaged citizenship, and by equipping participants to teach this to their own students in this unique moment 250 years after America’s founding.

Lodging at the Great Wolf Lodge in Wisconsin Dells, as well as meals, will be provided. Participants will receive a $200 stipend for completion of the symposium.
