The McKeen Center for the Common Good, What Matters Dialogue Program, at Bowdoin College will present a conversation about US Citizenship with Professor of History Patrick Rael and Professor of Africana Studies and English Tess Chakkalakal on October 28.
Join us for a conversation about US Citizenship with Professor of History Patrick Rael and Professor of Africana Studies and English Tess Chakkalakal. They will explore the history of citizenship from the American founding onward, interpretations of citizenship, and what duties and rights come with citizenship. Over dinner, Professors Chakkalakal and Rael will explore these ideas and engage attendees in a meaningful conversation about the evergreen topic of American citizenship.
