“Slavery from the Founding to the Civil War,” a Teacher Symposium at Florida Atlantic University

A two-day symposium for Florida middle and high school teachers focused on the primary sources from the founding and Civil War on the topic of slavery, its development in American society, and ultimate demise. In addition to scholar-led discussions JMC Teacher Programs Manager Ben Boyce will lead a classroom application sessions.
