4th National Summit on Civic Education
Join organizations and philanthropists committed to reinvigorating American civic education with our nation’s founding principles.
Words that Changed the World: America at 250
The 2026 National Summit on Civic Education will bring together civic educators, thought leaders, funders, and business and civil society leaders in conversation around the Declaration of Independence—and its extraordinary relevance in American education today.
The Summit will be a celebration of our founding ideals and their power to bring us together as citizens across differences. Leading voices from a variety of fields will discuss bold ideas for reform, and concrete actions attendees can take to their own institutions. The Summit will also highlight the unique role that Philadelphia educational and cultural institutions are playing in the national civics movement.
Summit updates will be posted here. If you are interested in sponsoring this event, email Thomas Kelly, Vice President of Academic Programs, at tkelly@gojmc.org.
