Teacher Institute at the University of Toledo: Educating the Enduring Republic
The Institute of American Constitutional Thought & Leadership at the University of Toledo is hosting a week-long institute for middle and high school teachers, with the support of the Jack Miller Center.
The institute will address the key themes, thinkers, and texts pertaining to America’s constitutional tradition. Topics will include, but are not limited to, natural rights, constitutional interpretation, the Founders and religion, slavery and the Constitution, and American foreign policy. Sessions will be led by faculty from the University of Toledo and visiting lecturers.
Teachers will receive a $400 stipend for completion of the institute.
