Savannah Eccles Johnston is an assistant professor of Constitutional Government, Civics & Law and director of the Master of Arts in Constitutional Government, Civics & Law (MACGCL) program at UVU. She also co-hosts the Center for Constitutional Studies’ podcast, This Constitution, and produces civics content on Instagram and Youtube (@savypolitics). She specializes in American political thought and constitutionalism and her work has appeared in publications such as American Political ThoughtThe Forum, and Politics, Groups, and Identities

She received her Ph.D. and M.A. in Politics and Government from Claremont Graduate University and a B.S. in political science from Brigham Young University.
