The Civic Spirit Summer Institute
The Jack Miller Center partners with Civic Spirit to bring together teachers and administrators from faith-based schools to study important texts and ideas in American history with the purpose of educating students for civic character and civic responsibility.
An intensive, week-long civic education training program for faculty from faith-based schools to learn together.

The Institute provides the opportunity to delve into America’s founding documents and discuss pedagogical tools for using primary sources, philosophical texts, and literature as a way of invoking civic connection and democratic fluency in the classroom.
Civic Spirit Educators participate in workshops on key civic skills, including media literacy, civil discourse, op-ed writing, and action civics.
