A group of students in the Political Science Department at Seton Hill University will participate in the year-long Declaration of Independence Fellowship, an undergraduate research fellowship. In this fellowship, students participate in a reading group, reading four books on the Declaration and regularly meeting to discuss the readings; develop research papers on the Declaration, using those books and supplementing them with individualized additional sources; present drafts of their research at a campus symposium; present revised versions of their papers at an academic conference; and submit their undergraduate papers for publication in undergraduate academic journals.
