Great Hearts Institute Civics Day Events

Through a Jack Miller Center grant, the Great Hearts Institute is supporting four events for Sandra Day O’Connor Civics Day on September 25. These events include: Civics Day at Scottsdale Prep, focusing on The First Continental Congress’s Declaration: Explaining the American Revolution as a British Constitutional Debate that Turned into a Civil War; a presentation at Veritas Prep, covering “From Idea into Law”: The Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation; a presentation at Anthem Prep, focusing on The Declaration of Independence: The Soul of America’s Constitutional Republic; and a presentation at Glendale Prep, titled “The Political Faith of Salmon P. Chase.”
