Civic Virtue and America at 250: A Gathering for Bradley and Jack Miller Fellows
Every two years, the Bradley Foundation and the Jack Miller Center hold a joint reunion of their fellows
Every two years, the Bradley Foundation and the Jack Miller Center hold a joint reunion of their fellows, offering them an opportunity to develop and strengthen their networks and to inspire a shared sense of purpose. America’s 250th birthday provides an opportune moment to examine the virtues that sustain the government of the people, by the people, for the people.
This year’s reunion will take the form of a conference, spread over one evening and the following day, focused on the theme of civic virtue in the year of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The event will feature panels examining “Virtue and Statesmanship,” “The Virtues of a Citizen,” and “American Political Economy, Technology, and the Next 250 Years,” as well as keynote addresses by Professor Robert P. George and Dr. Yuval Levin.
