Symposium for Teachers at North Greenville University: Investigating Foundational Questions in American Civics

North Greenville University, with the support of the Jack Miller Center, is hosting a symposium for South Carolina social studies teachers.

South Carolina

The symposium will cover a range of topics in the American political tradition with a focus this year on the Declaration of Independence and its legacy. Scholar sessions will be led primarily by Professor Nicholas Higgins of North Greenville University and William Reddinger of Regent University.

This symposium is approved by the South Carolina Department of Education, and participants will earn 20 renewal credits upon completion of the program. Participants will also receive a $250 stipend to defray the cost of attendance.
